Health and Wellness is such a huge part of who I am. Being able to share, educate and support others on this journey is my passion, and I am SO blessed to be able to work my Young Living business from home.
I have been very conscious about nutrition, good eating and overall health since my teen years, but it's only been in the last 8 years or so that I've looked beyond just the foods that I put in my body for achieving overall health and wellness. I value naturopathic and home remedies so much because of the 'preventative' approach to health and the empowerment I get to understand our bodies better and take care of them each day.
My journey in consciously removing synthetics and toxic chemicals from my family's lives started when I was introduced to Young Living Essential Oils and that is one of my top priorities in this industry today. As a society, we are surrounded by SO MANY harmful chemicals, products and synthetics. At the same time, we are experiencing so many unexplained health issues. Before becoming aware, I never questioned why smelling a scented candle resulted in a headache. And I didn't question why my eyes would burn and throat hurt when I was around someone wearing cologne or perfume. I previously had no idea that most of our sensitivities to scents was related to the synthetics in those products. Most people don't know this little (yet huge) fact, but it's true.
Young Living Essential Oils are 100% pure essential oils; therefore, the experience of sensitivities that I get with so many other products is non-existent with Young Living products. As a family, we use Young Living Essential Oils for everyday things like supporting our immune systems, for helping our skin where there are cuts, bruises and scrapes, for supporting our sleep and stress levels, for adding vitality oils to water or food to enhance flavor, for helping calm my baby when teething or tummy stuff makes him uncomfortable to so many other everyday issues.
